Restaurant Guide

      No matter what your taste in food, there is sure to be a restaurant or bar either in La Manga Club or in the surrounding area that has something that will wet your appetite or set your taste buds tingling. Our guide is by no means exhaustive, but it gives you an idea of the number of eating establishments either on the complex or in the surrounding area. If you are a real night owl, and want to dance the night away after dinner, then there are also a growing number of nightclubs and music bars where you can do this.

Abela Teresa

  Amapola

The creme de la crème of La Manga Club restaurants, Amapola has recently undergone a major refurbishment. The restaurant is located in the Hyatt Regency Hotel, and has an international gourmet menu.    Asia

The name is a bit of a give away in terms of what food it serves. The restaurants takes the best dishes from South East Asia and serves them in lovely, stylish surroundings.                        Bar 37

The game of golf is legendary for building an appetite, hence the reason for bar 37 located in the golf clubhouse overlooking the 18th tee of the north golf course.                     Casa Victor

One of la manga club’s perennially popular restaurants, thanks to its varied menu, and great value for money prices. located on Calle de Atamaria close to Bellaluz, it is one of those places that always seems to be busy, no matter the time of year.     Tel (0034) 968 175 000

   Deli-Café

Stock up on a few essential food items, and while you are waiting, why not sample some of the wonderful desserts and cakes which are craftily displayed next to the cash register.                         El Bistro

Situated in the heart of La Manga, the only square on the resort, you will find El Bistro. Dine al-fresco and enjoy warm nights and great food.

 Halfway House

Situated on the 1st tee of the south course, ideal for refreshments either before or after that championship winning round of golf. may be closed for part of the year as the south course undergoes some remodelling.

                        La Bodega

Located behind la plaza commercial centre, and close to the tennis centre, its cosy atmosphere and relaxed ambience make it a good choice if you want a quick bite to eat. specialises in tapas. Tel (0034) 968 175 999                                             

Part of La Manga Club, but located above a beautiful remote cove with great views out across the mediterranean.                  La Princessa

Every golf course needs its own clubhouse and bar, and this is perfect for those playing the challenging west course. score a hole in one, and head straight to La Princessa and buy everybody in sight a drink!!  Tel (0034) 968 175 000

                 La Rusticana

Located on the road to Portman, this restaurant offers a mediterranean menu, great atmosphere and excellent food. Small play area for children.

                    Last Drop

Popular bar located in La Plaza Commercial Centre, rumour has it that it usually only closes when you either fall over or run out of money!!!  Ext. 4492

               Lorca Lounge

Either named after a famous spanish poet, or a town in the murcia region, it is the place to go for after hours drinks and is well renowned for its lively atmosphere. the bar, which is located in the Hyatt Hotel, has regular live entertainment most evenings. Tel (0034) 968 175 000

         Los Molinos Pool Bar

Located next to the swimming pool at los molinos, it is a great place to relax and enjoy a long refreshing drink, and light snacks.

                     Luigi’s

 Italian Restaurant located next to the peninsula club and the deli. One of those places where it is definitely recommended to book a table in advance, especially during high season. It offers a good selection of pizza and pasta dishes. takeaway menu also available.        Tel (0034) 968 175 000

                   Mr Chan’s

One of the oldest restaurants at La Manga Club, and serving a highly varied menu from the orient. Located in Las Lomas, it also offers a takeaway menu, if you don’t fancy the formality of sitting down for dinner. Tel (0034) 968 175 000

                     Mulligans

Similar to the last drop, even down to the location, mulligans is popular with sports fans as there always seems to be a live football match on the giant screen. Good selection of draught and bottle beers available, and the “games zone” is an added bonus with pool, darts and bar games available.       Tel (0034) 968 175 000 

Great for families with a fully enclosed artificial grass garden, 8 TV´s and childrens play area.  Ideal for Dads who want to watch the match while the kids while away the time.  During the summer months there is a childrens magician. 2 children under the age of 10 can eat free between 5pm and 7pm with any 2 adult meals purchased anytime the same evening.   Sol Y Sombra

                   Spikes

This is where the night people hang out. Live music, intoxicating cocktails, the perfect blend for late nights and heavy hangovers. Located in the hotel, it offers a good alternative to the Lorca lounge, and caters for a younger (or young-at-heart) crowd. Tel (0034) 968 331 234

                   The Fairways

Great Tapas, great atmosphere, great location. Come and join The Fairways in Bellaluz Pueblo, the place to be.

Clever name for a snack bar and restaurant located at La Manga Club’s Tennis Centre. renowned for its juices, the perfect pick-me-up after an energetic game of tennis. it also offers a selection of snacks and light refreshments. Ext. 8718

        Tom’s Pizza and Pasta

 Tom’s Pizza is located of off Bellaluz Square, and has a good selection of pizzas and some pasta dishes.  Every combination you can think of makes this a sure hit for those craving a fast food fix. Reservations Ext. 4455

                      Uncle Sam's

Perfect for fussy families - ie the kids only eat hamburgers. Uncle Sams is styled along the lines of a 1950´s American diner and serves the type of food to match with mountains of ribs, burgers, fries and other goodies available. Los Belones

Via Romana -

A taste of Italy with a Spanish twist -  pizzeria, pasta and steaks - ideal for families with children and large groups.  Realistically priced and great food. Fantastic atmosphere. Would recommend booking a table as usually busy. Reservations (0034) 968 137 373

Rierpe -

This is where the locals eat. Simple Spanish food at low prices. Great tapas at lunch time.

Terraza del Sol -

Situated in the heart of Los Belones, sit and watch the world pass you by while enjoying coffee, tea, drinks and snacks, tapas and sandwiches. Great atmosphere in the evening.

Cabo de Palos

Festiva Chinese Restaurant Everyone just loves this restaurant!  Fantastic value for money and the food is first class too. The food portions are generous and the staff friendly The place to go if it's your birthday!

El Mosquí Restaurant  -  Located on the road to the Lighthouse For excellent "caldero" (Seafood) rice. Try the freshly prepared "pescado frito" (fried fish platter). This restaurant is popular with locals and has a nautical feel.

El Navegante   This superb fish restaurant enjoys a wonderfully elevated position overlooking the bay. Ask for the daily specials! Bookings recommended.

Playa Honda

Malvasia Restaurant  

A smart evening only a la carte restaurant with a fine wine list. The food here is very nicely presented, quite pricey but ideal for that 'special occasion'. Reservations (0034) 968 145 073

Brambles

Run by Do and Doug this is a great place to get a fantastic english all day brekkie €7 and Sunday Roast for €8, Sunday Bingo at 9pm and Thursday Quiz Night at 9pm. Watch the match on one of four screens or just sit and watch the world go by!  Tel. (0034) 610 622 249

La Manga Strip

Dollys 

Only opened since June 12th this is the only place on La Manga Strip featuring "Tina Turnoff" and  "Dolly Mixture". Paddy Wacks

Cafeteria Bar El Sol

Located in Plaza Cavanna, great English food with a Spanish twist. Scampi, gammon steak, pork and lamb chops and a fantastic cod and chips are just some of the tempting dishes on a really varied menu.  Offering a Credit Crunch Lunch for €7.95 and a full monty breakfast that will set you up for the rest of the day.
